Mobo mem compatibility

anyone know if these will work ASUS P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155 and CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMD16GX3M2A1600C9. It is not in recommend list on the asus site but no 16GB (2 x 8GB) set up is. thinking of going with that mem or this G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-16GXM. any help would be great. Does the memory have to be on that list to work or is that just things they know work? I want to eventually upgrade to 32 gb but wanted to start with the 2x8gb so i could just add two more later. not buy a 4x4gb set up and then buy a 4x8gb set when i decide to up the ram
