Geeksalive says that the A series are fast and very fast. Can someone explain how that can be when the clocks are slower than the other processors?

I have five more days to decide if I should keep a laptop purchase that has AMD A6 3400M, but rated at 1.6 GHz.

I don't understand why the quad core A6 is rated slower than the dual core A4, and the E350.

Thanks tons.

Its all about cpu architecture. For an example: the i7-2600k at stock clocks 3.4ghz still performs better than a fx-8150 at 4ghz. Better architecture gives better performance.
