Need advice for a new computer for my brothers

Leaving for college in 3 weeks. Trying to get everything organized for a new computer for my little brothers before I leave. I really need some expert advice on this. Please and thank you.

Approximate Purchase Date: within the next two weeks

Budget Range: >$400. Would prefer to keep it closer to $300-$350, but it a bit of budget flexibility can allow for a good increase in power, it can be managed. Rebates are nice as well, but not required

System Usage from Most to Least Important: web browsing, flash games, PC gaming (at least able to run TF2 at a decent level), word processing, listening to music

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg or Amazon

Country of Origin: United States

Parts Preferences: no brand preference. Would just like to avoid low quality components that are prone to failure

Overclocking: maybe

SLI or Crossfire: not likely, considering the budget

Monitor Resolution: n/a

Additional Comments: the easier it is to upgrade at a later date, the better

This is what I have come up with so far. If some components aren't compatible or aren't the best I could get for my money, it is because I am really new to homebuilt computers and have little to no idea what I'm doing. My uncle was going to help with the assembly if I could not figure it out myself. Any/all constructive criticism is welcome.

More about need advice computer brothers
  1. ^ AFAIK there is nothing wrong with that parts selection, actually I couldnt have done better myself,... ;)
Free Shipping for that case @ amazon
  2. Thanks for the review and the heads-up on the free shipping for the case. Unless somebody comes up with something better by Friday, I will probably order everything before the weekend. I just have one quick question. All I know about building computers was learned from a few hours of poring over guides on Tom's and a few other sites. I still know very little about power supplies in general. Will that PSU suffice for this build?
  3. ^ Yes that PSU would suffice,... Though not the best, but is one of the good ones for the money,...
It can also power a slightly more powerful graphic card too say HD 6770 or lower,... So HD 5670 will be fine,...
If you want to learn more about PSUs, check these,...
  4. Thanks again. This should hopefully turn out well.
