Ok so I'm starting from scratch kinda lol I have a DVD burner and case and monitor mouse keyboard and 400$ I want to get the best pc I can from that I'm Gunna buy it really soon it's similar to the same post I had a while ago except this one is for gaming and music only Plz recommend me the best oh and idk if I should go modular or not cause cable manage mention is Important to me lol

Solution
At stock there isn't much difference between the i5-2400 and the i5-2500k but you can't overclock on the i5-2400. You can on the i5-2500k. If youre getting the i5-2400, get a H61 or H67 board.
I think for that you should be able to manage:

Intel Core i3-2100 (or Phenom II x4 965)
H61 Motherboard (AM3 nForce with the Phenom)
4GB RAM
500GB Hard Drive
HD 5770 or GTS 450 or HD 6770
XFX Core PRO450W

EDIT: That should max any current game at anything lower than 1920x1080, may have to remove a bit of AA though.

Sweet I was also considering the and a8 I heard it was really good a bang for the buck what do u think

I don't know for sure but i think you would get less performance in games but it would be a lot cheaper. The idea behind those CPU's is to have a mediocre CPU (compared to Intel) but with powerful integrated graphics so you wouldn't buy a graphics card. I think a HD 5770 or similar should beat any integrated graphics though.

I went with the x6 cause i wanted to get the most outta my cpu ( i3 and x4 ) i didnt go with the i3 cause it was 2 cores so i tryed to get the i5 but couldnt afford it and i got the x6 at a great price with the mobo i wanted to future proof the cpu the most because i know i wasnt gunna upgrade it later on :-/ so i went big instead
If i took the spinpoint out ( dont want to really need a bigger hard drive currently only at 120 ) i could get a better psu like a modular one i didnt think i need alot of power and since im upgradeing it later i saw no point all input is good good or negative

I'm pretty sure the i3-2100 would still beat even the 1090t in games. I would get either the i3-2100 or i5-2500k. With the RAM too, anything over 1600Mhz isn't really worth the price in terms of gaming performance. Also, 16GB is massive overkill in games. With the fans, i think the difference is most likely to be the amount of noise instead of the airflow.

Thxz for the tip on the rans :D and on the i 3 i cant find a budget i3/5 i wanred the i5 but the cpu alone is 230$

I see that on Newegg it is $50 more but if you can afford that it's so worth it, looking at some benchmarks the i5 gets pretty much double the FPS in games. If you cant afford it get the i3 man, it's about $40-50 less than the 1090t and beats it in games. I know it's depressing how good that CPU is, i have an i5-760 and that i3 still matches my i5 in games and costs almost half as much.

If youre absolutely set on the 1090t though, at least get a really cheap AMD CPU like an Athlon x2 or something on an AM3+ board. Then have it until bulldozer comes out and upgrade then.
