GameCube Max Drive - need help

I bought a Datel GameCube Max Drive recently. It would allow me to
copy bundled saves from installation disc to the Max Drive or
download codes from codejunkies.com to the Max Drive. I followed
the installation process faithfully (1. prepare Max Drive on the
GameCube, 2. install the PC software on my Win2K PC, 3. connect
the USB cable and Max Drive to the PC). When I drag-drop save from
the PC side to the Max Drive column, nothing happens. Nor there is
any error message about not detecting the Max Drive. I checked
the Windows Device Manager and saw the Max Drive icon (no error).

I have emailed Datel Tech Support three times. All I got in return
are computer-generated replies telling me to go to their FAQ site,
or reinstalling the latest PC driver software (I already installed
the latest version). The third time they simply ignore my message.

Has anyone had luck with this product or had run into similar
problem? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
