Hello, using a new zacate build with an asrock mobo (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157228&cm_re=e-350-_-13-157-228-_-Product) hooked up to the monitor through the DVI port. The monitor is a standard 1080 monitor. Windows 7 refuses to allow any resolution higher then 1280x1024, presumably because it says its connected to a VGA device, even though the actual cable and connection is DVI. I can see and understand that the logic board shares that data lane regardless whether its plugged into the vga or dvi but is their a way to force windows to use the dvi driver or in some other manner get the full resolution from my monitor?

Not sure how to mark this as solved but..... reinstalled windows again as a final gesture recognized as radeon 6300 on start up, not sure what i was doing wrong previously.
