The aim of the game is long lasting reliable components for a home office machine on a reasonable budget (£350)

These are the specs

1 x Casecom 6788 Black Mid Tower Case £23.92
1 x 120mm Blue LED Fan £1.83
1 x Core i5 2500 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache £127.99
1 x Asus P8H67-V R3 H67 Socket 1155 ATX Motherboard £65.92
2 x Crucial 2GB DDR3 1333MHz/PC3-10600 Memory CL9 1.5V £20.68

These parts I already have:

OCZ StealthXStream 500watt PSU
western digital 500GB hard drive
some random optical drive

Two Questions:
Is that build ready to... be built?

Any improvements you would make, maybe there is better value for money to be had there, even though its already under budget.

Thanks in advance

Since you are using an i5 2500 that cant be overclocked you can use an H67 chipset motherboard [ or Z68 ] so you can use the cpu's on board graphics.

Either that or you need to buy a graphics card since the P67 chipset disables the processor graphics core
