Ok I'm choosing between 2 different chips of RAM. I'm looking to get 16GB of RAM (4x4 GB) but I'm wondering if there is any significant difference between the clock rate in the RAM.

Kingston DDR3 16GB PC-17000/2133 CL11 HyperX
G.Skill DDR3 16GB PC-19200/2400 Trident X F3-2400C10Q-16GTX

I'm going to use an ASRock z77 extreme 4 motherboard.

The Kingston is only slightly cheaper.
Thanks in advance.

In real life you won't see any performance difference between those two ram kits. Go for the least expensive at the time of purchase.

Would it be more noticeable if it were say 1600mhz compared to 2400mhz? or isnt it worth the extra money.

Even 1600 MHz vs 22400 MHz is not noticeable. I didn't believe it until someone explained the ins and outs of memory timing to me. Where you do see a big difference is between 1333MHz and 1600 MHz - that's why 1600 MHz memory is so popular.
