What AMD CPU would you suggest me to buy?

Hi im looking to upgrade my cpu, i need your help. I have an amd athlon II x2 245, asus m4t785d-evo mobo, gtx 560, 4 (2x2) gig ram 1333mhz, win 7 32-bit, 750 and 150 hdd not in raid. 500w psu. I'm looking to overclock my cpu and wouldn't mind buying an aftermarket fan either. Any suggestions? I currently overclock the gtx560 DCII/oc2di/1gd5 to 950 mhz. psu is recommended for a 550watt i understand but seems to run perfectly. I was thinking of the phenom 4 955 be. any other cpu that can be overclocked well for the money?

More about what suggest
  1. 955 BE is a good processor and shouldn't bottleneck your 560
  2. Whats your native resolution?
  3. 1080p

955be would be fine. The gpu matters at that resolution more so the better the gpu the better performance you will get. The x4 has no problem keeping up with it

It really depends on how much you want to buy. The biggest bang for the buck for pure gaming is the A8-3800 with a Radeon 6670. But you can still keep your 560 and get a quad core. The A8 OCs OK with the right knowledge (just like every CPU) so you can do 1080p gaming for most games.

  7. I know you already selected a best answer, but the 960T is the same price as the 955 and can unlock to a x6... and with a lower TDP it OCs nicely!
