Hey guy's I've contacted ASUS customer service via email/phone
(imo i think they're not educated enough in this field )
But here is what i am trying to do with this issue.

Purchase AMDX6 Processor > Install Processor... Then after that i never done this before
Should i remain with the current installed version of Win7? Or should i reinstall the OS
as fresh install ?

As long as your BIOS is up to date then it's all good to go.

I upgraded from a X3 720 to an X6 1100t and just dropped the new chip in.

(Plus thermal paste etc. )

You shouldn't have to do anything in the BIOS. Just put the new CPU in the socket, apply thermal paste, attach fan/heatsink and you should be fine.

it's not that they are not educated in the field, its because they realise you obviously dont know what you are doing and it is not up to them to teach you how to assemble a computer and/or read the CPU support list of your motherboard.

@ OP, I have the same motherboard and depending on how long ago it was manufactured the BIOS may need updating to support the newer X6 cpu's.

I have the latest BIOS 2102, and it supports X6 processors, i was just wondering if that specific processor would work on
the system updated BIOS. This is the processor AMD Phenom II X6 1100T I am going to purchase soon.
