  1. Hey there,

I got an older mobo (GA-MA78GM-S2H) that supports only DDR2 ram modules. Will I gain any FPS advance if I change to a DDR3 mobo with the same amount (4GB) of ram?

I use my computer mostly for MMO and action PC games.
  2. you will see an increase in speed as far as the OS and applications but no increase in frames per second; that is strictly your cpu and graphics card.
  3. U will not be able to see any difference.
  4. If u want to speed things up, best is to get SSD drive.

That will knock your socks off.

  6. Increasing the amount of ram from 4 gigabytes to lets say 8 gigabytes may increase frame rates as long as you have a 64 bit OS. Especially if your running more than one application at a time.

  8. Good luck!
