Default Search Folder

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize (More info?)

Does anyone know how I can configure it so that whenever
I can chnage the default folder in the search tool?
Presently the 'Look in' value is the entire computer (all
local drives). I would like to change this value to
point to only one particular drive.

Any ideas?

Keep in mind that, according to the Google Help Page:

"There may be a delay of up to 12 hours between articles being posted
to a news server and those articles being searchable within Google's
newsgroup search."

And a friendly tip... Please avoid posting the same message separately
to different newsgroups, i.e. please do not multi-post. If your posting is
relevant in more than one newsgroup, please cross-post instead
(restraint is advised).

By cross-posting:
- The news software is able to transfer a single copy
- Readers of multiple groups won't have to read your posting many times over
- Answers are threaded together cohesively, posters don't have to repeat
- Potential follow-ups will not be fragmented all over the different newsgroups
- You won't have to search all of the newsgroups to read any replies you may
receive
