Motherboard ram recognition failure

Hello people,

I have a DH67CL motherboard and it doesn't recognise my ram which is elixir M2F4G64CB8HB5N-CG
the problem arose when i was trying to install 2 sticks of corsair vengeance 1600MHz 4GB each. I've tried moving which slot the ram is in, but i still get a beep code telling me that the is a ram issue.

If anyone knows how to solve this please let me know, also if you need more info just ask

System specs:

Processor: intel i5 sandybridge
GPU: ATI radeon 6870
PSU: Novatech Black 750W modular
other stuff stated above.

Try using slot_1 and slot_3 for memory or slot_2 and slot_4.
