Graphics card and Alienware

Hello,
I have an Aleinware Aurora R3 it came with an oem Nvidia GTX 460 but I also want to put in a Galaxytech GTX 460 I also have.
My PSU is 875w and no matter which configuration I put the Galaxy card into the PC it fails to post, I'v taken out the OEM and replaced it with the Galaxy card and i have even tried to SLI the 2 cards still no luck. The Galaxy card does work I'v used it in a XPS studio 7100 I also have and it runs fine in it, this has gotten me stumpped, I cant figure out what i need to do to get the Galaxy card to work in my Alienware PC?

Did you try uninstalling old drivers, then swapping and installing the drivers that came with the Galaxy card?

PSU should be fine; maybe the second PCI-E lane isn't running at the proper speed? [Check BIOS for the PCI-E multiplyers and see if anything looks wrong on that front].
