Hi there,

I won't be upgrading for a while, but could you guys suggest me a crossfire compatible motherboard that is relatively cheap, but still is of good quality. My 6850 covers 2 of the SATA connectors on my board, which isn't a problem now as I don't plan to upgrade anytime soon, but in the future I'll definitely need more hard drives. And my old board supported ddr3 so I still have the ram from that.

Good luck.

For a system running a single Radeon HD 6850 graphics card the power supply should have a minimum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 24 Amps and have at least one 75W 6-pin PCI-Express power connector.

For a system running with two Radeon HD 6850 graphics cards in 2-way CrossFireX mode the power supply should have a minimum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 35 Amps and have at least two 75W 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors.

Your OCZ Fatal1ty Professional Series 550W (OCZ550FTY) with its maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 37.5 Amps just meets the requirement.

So it seems two 6850s and a 955 would be on the edge for a 550w PSU...Anyone got some suggestions for a decent 750w PSU that is not overly expensive?
