Running on an ATI Radeon 3200 HD integrated motherboard. I have 2 GB of DDR2 RAM, 667 MHz on 64 bit Windows 7.
I've been running slowly when streaming, multitasking, ie choppy video, computer really bogs down between switching tasks so I thought it be best to increase the RAM.
So my friend and I installed 2 more GBs of RAM for a total of 4GBs to help this but I'd get a blue screen and automatic restart of the computer only to have it happen continuously upon multitasking.
Upon further research, he found that on 64 bit processing, this motherboard can run unstable at 4 GB or more, despite the capacity for 8 GB, so we took out 1 stick to get to 3GB total and it seems to run smoother.
My question is, is there a way to make it so I CAN properly run 4 GB or more and not have any problems? Obviously 4 GB or more > 3 GB, so I'd like to make this happen if possible since there is capacity of up to 8 GB.
