No power on motherboard; PSU tester in the green; options

I'm pretty frustrated with my computer now. I just bought a new motherboard, tried plugging everything in (3 sticks of ram, 1 gfx card, one proc, and CPU) Pressed the power button on the motherboard and my PSU fan spun for a half second and then stopped. I took everything out besides 1 stick of ram and processor and the psu won't even spin up a half second. Both times when I turned the power switch on, the onboard LEDs light up but, don't change when I press power. Next I tried putting in a different CPU and still nothing. This power supply has barely been used and as the power supply tester has said, it should be working fine. I have another PSU that I thought was the culprit but, last time I tested it, I had to apply pressure in a certain direction in order to get the motherboard to power on. I really don't know what to do. I guess it is possible that I have 2 fried CPUs and 2 fried power supplies and 2 fried motherboards but, if there is another explanation, I don't know what it is...

Is it possible that every time I plug in a specific corrupted component that it fries the motherboard?

To aid in troubleshooting I'll tell you all the components I have

Initial test:

3x OCZ3x1600R2LV68GK ram 8 8 8 @ 1.65v 2gb
Evga Classified 3 x58
1x 5970 with EK full plate waterblock
i7 950 intel proc at standard settings
HK watercool CPU waterblock
Corsair HX750W PSU

Second test:

1x ram
1x motherboard
1x i7 950
1x waterblock
1x PSU

third test:

swapped out 950 for 930

fourth test:

swapped out 750 W PSU with 1200 W PSU suspected of failure but passed PSU tester.

Both PSU's are in the green as far as voltage goes.

I have also tried each test by putting the 6 pin CPU power cords in either slot on the motherboard

All power ons have been conducted by pressing the onboard power switch

I tried resetting CMOS with the button and by removing the battery

Motherboard is a refurbish from EVGA via ebay.
