Hey everyone,

From looking at other builds I have picked out the below items. If possible I would like your feedback on my build before I start buying. I would like to overclock the i5 2500K and maybe the RAM, will this be OK? First time overclocking and don't want to break my stuff

Any other comments/concerns are welcome.

As a side note, I would really like to play BF3 on highest settings you guys think the graphics card I picked will do it?

Thanks for the feed back!

the storm scout is a great case, so id just go with whichever you prefer. your board does have a usb 3.0 header for the front panel.

i dont think you will need to overclock the ram, even if you oc the cpu, 1600mhz should be fine.

the ram will fit fine under a hyper 212+

a large number of your links are broken. some suggestions:
this 560 ti has a great cooling system and a higher factory overclock:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.717976
at this point in time, i wouldnt pay over $60 for 8gb ram, there are constantly sales

if you need windows:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.719133

id skip the hybrid drive.

also check out the storm enforcer:

Hi Gengkiskron,

Sorry for the broken links, I have corrected them.

Thanks for the advice on the parts, I will definitively grab that 560ti combo you suggested.

As for the ram, I went for the Vengeance Low Profile because of the height of the other chips. I assume the ram you linked will fit without a problem with the cooler I have chosen?

I just picked that hybrid drive because someone I work with had great results with the performance.

And the storm enforcer case you linked looks great! However, I am not into the hinged front panels on cases. I guess I could take it off. Also, I see it has USB 3 on the font panel, will the connection be on my motherboard I picked. I don't see it, it looks like a 8 pin connector?

Thanks again for the suggestions. Do you or anyone else see a great need to overclock the ram? This will be my first rig overclocking so I wouldn't mind giving it a try. I do not intend to do any extreme overclock....yet;)

Thanks again!

Hey Genghiskron,

Thanks again for all the information. I think I will go for the enforcer because of the front USB3 ports. The panel I can simply remove. I just still cant find the port on the motherboard for the connection but I am sure you are correct and I will keep looking.

Thanks again, I always get an answer when posting here. You guys know what your talking about!
