I've decided on an i5 3570k.

Have a GeForce 9600 GSO and a tower.

Need :
MB (I assume I need a z75/z77),
power supply (what's adequate ?),
monitor (26" minimum),
HDD (value pick here)

Use: lots of HD video streaming (watching), some dvds, might get into some gaming down the road (I don't think it would ever be an all consuming hobby for me)

Question: Is there something in some of the more expensive boards that would be worth having. Newegg has an ASRock Z75 Pro3 for $85 (5 star rating). Should I go higher ?

I wouldn't say the Gigabyte board provides any more features that you could take use of than what the ASrock board does for those 5$. Personally I'd stick with the ASrock Pro3.

For better OC, I would go with this one, it has more phases 8+4 vs 4+2 listed above.

That offers better stability when overclocked.

U can definitely use this one -> ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 -> ... Latest Z77...

I just build PC with this mobo and I like the BIOS, its looks like this.

Works as expected @ 4.4GHz

That is a great mobo choice for the CPU. It has good power design for OC.
