Hi I am trying to get my LED Case fans to pulse to my music. Nothing important just for aesthetics. I have an Antec 900 case I just want the front 2 molex hard drive cooling fans to pulsate to my music.

Solution

I think you could possibly do this by using a sound module that is sold to control CCFL lights (12V molex inverter). However if you just tapped into the molex provided by the fans, you would also be pulsing the fans.
I recommend you scrap this idea and use some CCFL lighting with a sound module, I believe you'll get the effect you're looking for without affecting your case cooling. one could also do this with LED lighting as well, but the modules I'm referring to are made to work with CCFL.

Here's a link or two...

the only way i can think of is cut the fan wire and wire the 12v and ground to an audio connector then connet it to an audio slot unless there are some pci add-on out there that designs for this purpose but i highly doubt
