Graphics card keeps overheating i think???

Hi i am having problems with my graphics card whenever i play a PC game any PC game or watch a video or movie it freezes on the screen and the vpu recover comes up it does this a few times then it freezes again during gameplay and then i get a black screen causing the PC to not respond to anything but everything runs fine including PC games when i use the integrated graphics which is ati radeon xpress 200 series and my motherboard is an Acer Aspire E500 but the PC is stable when not watching movies or playing games i will post a picture of the graphics card info in gpu-z sometime soon. Somehow i think it is faulty so can someone please help me out.

One your computer is pretty old as is, that might be it.
Two if the integrated work then the card is faulty. Just exchange it and see what happens
