Solved Replacing LCD inverter on Asus notebook --- risk/benefit of leaving tape on Tags: Graphics Cards Asus LCD Notebooks Graphics Product Last response: June 18, 2011 5:00 AM in Graphics & Displays Share hlemel June 11, 2011 3:58:11 PM Hello, I just replaced my malfunctioning inverter on an Asus m3np. The new inverter had some clear yellowish tape on the right side (facing it) and I left this on. Is there any risk in having done so due to heat, generated by the inverter? I wouldn't lose any sleep over this one Harold. Share hlemel June 11, 2011 4:26:33 PM Hi James Thanks for the reassurance!!
