I need a power supply for my build, the rest of the parts are picked. Im getting a 2500k, one of the new asus gen3 motherboards, and a radeon 6950 (unlocking to 6970). My power supply budget is about 80 dollars, preferable with shipping and tax included. I'd also like the psu to be good enough so that when the gen3 cards come out, and the ivy bridge cpus, I can upgrade with the same psu.

I am thinking about this one, I know it's not super amazing brand or anything, but all good reviews, and no reported problems. seems to be very good performance+reliability/price ratio

short version: I have 80 bucks and want a power supply around 650 watts.

thanks a lot guys

What reviews are you going by?

There haven't been any reviews done by reputable PSU review sites yet.

I wouldn't put much stock in Newegg.com's Customer Reviews of the Rosewill HIVE-650. None of those customers have ever hooked it up to a load tester or oscilloscope so they are only offering their opinions.
