Gaming PC build need help

My budget is about 9000$-13,000$ (I'll go over if needed).
I want to game, game at max and in 3D, and OC.
I'm in NYC
I would want to SLI/Crossfire.
I want super fast PC, so of course SSD.
+10 GB RAM
Also if you wouldn't mind please include 3D capable monitor. 3 monitors or how ever many you think would be a very nice setup.
I have no parts, keyboards, mouse, nothing.
I heard there is such thing as quad SLI? Is that possible to do? Well this forum has tendentious amounts of pros so please help!

Now, I said this is a ridiculous build. Let me explain. While you do have a ridiculous budget, you can build something that will do well with 3D surround gaming for about half of this (the actual computer, that is). While this would be about the best you can get right now, it will be surpassed by Ivy Bridge when that's released (early next year, I believe). Also, AMD and nVidia will be releasing their next-gen vid cards before long. But, I suppose with your budget, and what's left over, you can upgrade no problem.

The peripherals are subjective. The best thing you can do is go to an electronics store and try them out for yourself.

Are you sure you are informed enough to attempt to put this computer together since you say your new to this? Personally I would put 2/3 of that $9000 into a savings account and spent the remaining $3000 on a computer but heck, its your money so spend away.

Yeah really, there is no need to use $9000. Especially, even if you graduated, there is no point in wasting so much of your parent's money (if your graduating from high school), you should put 6k of that aside for more important things. With 3000 dollars you would still be able to get an amazing build. Maybe you can use 4k.
If you just graduated from high school, use 3k or 4k and save the rest, add some more and buy your first car haha. that is what I would do.. I can't even build a computer worth 9k off newegg >.<

I did actually graduate from high school. The money is partially from my college fund, I got a scholarship so they didn't really 'need' the money and decided to give me a better grad gift. I guess I can spend 4k and save the rest for a major upgrade ?

If you are planning on doing that I would suggest that you budget 2.5-3K on the computer and then put another 1-1.5 on the monitor(s), speakers, keyboard, mouse, ect.

Build a $1500 computer and take ther rest and buy a decent late model used car. (something with good gas mileage, $3.00-$5.00 gas is what you should expect nowadays).

a decent computer in the $1200 range, plus $300 for monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers, will last you through college, for anything you want to do including any game coming out in that time period. a i5-2400/2500 with 8 GB RAM, SLI a 560 or Crossfire a 6850, a small SSD and a 1 TB hard drive) shoudl handle anything you throw at it. with the option of a CPU and/or GPU upgrade in your senior year of college.
