Budget gaming graphics card

Hello,

Got £60 currys voucher and wanting to upgrade graphics card on pc. The games I want to be able to run include fifa 11, any racing game, bfbc, etc. My currents PC's got a generic 400w psu so nothing too powerful. It has toi be from currys and i am able to chip in another 10-20 quid if need be

What resolution are we talking about here and whats the rest of your system like CPU/Ram etc ? Is it a HP or a Dell etc.

The card needs a 6 pin PCIE power cable to be connected, does your PSU have one ? As its generic if it does not then i wouldnt recommend using an adapter. Do you know teh +12V amperage of teh PSU by any chance ?

I looked at that one but it requires 450w psu. How about the gt430. 70 quid and only requires 300w psu. My current set up is as follows:

Asrock n68-s motherboard
Amd phenom ii x4 940 CPU
2gb ram(will be upgrading to 4)
19inch monitor. Will be upgraded to a 23 inch hd tv

Bought the pc about 2 1/2 years ago for 280

Aneone able to help. Current resolution is 1400 * 900 but will be upgraded to hd telly
