Two NIC on same computer

Hello!

I want to use two different NIC on same computer connected to different routers with network ids. this arrangement is intended to receive a video stream from one network and re transmit it onto the other using VLC. can somebody help as i am unable to ping both networks simultaneously.

Hey,

With this sort of setup I would set the IP settings statically on each NIC. What sort of network setup do you have?

The two networks, which are to be interfaced using the two NICs are both Class B and differ in their first octet. I tried static IP settings on each NIC but I am unable to ping both networks simultaneously. Only one of the networks can be pinged. A friend suggested that certain rules are to be added using the cmd window (I am using Windows 7 Ultimate). Does anybody have any idea?
