So I have a 200 dollar budget. Looking at upgrading either my cup or vid card. here are the current specs

MSI 760GM-E65
Athlon II x3 435
ATI HD5750
8 Gig DDR3
HITACHI Deskstar 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s

Advice?

Thanks

Lou

What resolution is your monitor? Your probably better off getting a new video card, your resolution will help confirm that.

For 1080p, definitely GPU.

Also, you might need a new PSU. HD6850 + Corsar CX400 should do.

If you have a decent PSU, then I say go for a Radeon 6870 or nVidia GTX 560. If you're not sure about the CPU then drop down to a Radeon 6850 and invest in a decent PSU.
