Should I wait?

So It's time for me to upgrade. I currently have a pretty old computer, e5300 @ 3.2ghz and a ATi 4670.

I have about $600 AUD right now and I want to start on my proposed build. But I don't know what to get first. My situation is that if I was to get a Case, PSU, HDD and a SSD now, I would have to save up some more money which will take a fair while. But the benefit of this is that new hardware is coming out while I would be saving.

My other situation is that I buy a new GPU Case and PSU. But if I were to get a powerful GPU, it would bottleneck my system. Would I see any differences in frame rates from a 4670 to lets say a GTX 560 Ti or a ATi 6950?

So what path should I take?

EDIT: I'm planning on making a pretty expensive build, I have all my parts planned out it'll be easily over $1200

assuming AUD is similar to usd would buy you the same amount and you are getting the i5 2500k. you could get the cpu, mobo, ram and os, and possibly case now. wait for the gpus/cooler/monitor(s)/SSD/HDD/ect and canabilize your old machine for the rest. you would be pushing 600 witht the cpu mobo ram, os and case. but it is doable in USD.

EDIT: can I get a website to work off of?

www.pccasegear.com This is where I am getting my parts.

I really like the Silverstone Raven RV02-E black, it's pretty expensive though.

I already have a Monitor Keyboard etc I just need the rig. And yes I am planning on the 2500k
