This is my first time build for a budget gaming PC ($500) and I want to ask if its compatible and if it can run Battlefield 3 at a moderate setting.

Mmm, Yeah but would you mind linking us to the Power supply? Because some of them are noobish even some of CM's...

That is not a good power supply, It is not 80+ certified, Get this:

Power supply is the MOST IMPORTANT part of a PC...

And btw, I have a Pc with intel i5 dual core, 6GB RAM, and a RADEON 5470 and it cannot play battlefield bad company 2 on LOWEST SETTINGS without lagging. So i would say: NO that will BARELY play bf 3... But your processor is fine. (i would go with the i3-2100 though)...

AND YES!! GET THE HAF 912 CASE ITS AMAZING!!!!
