im looking to upgrade my computer and i was looking at 2 gigabyte boards
GA-970A-UD3 ($49.99)
GA-990FXA-UD3 (129.99)
i didn't really see anything different other thane the price

The North Bridge isn't the same (970 vs 990FX) and the GA-990FXA-UD3 has 2 more PCI Express slots (x16, x16, x4, x4 instead of x16, x4).
