Custom Power Supply?

Im looking to build an ultra low profile desktop, for which i will be building a custom case. so far i have found all the parts that i am looking for except for a power supply that can carry 350W but is no larger then 3". I am completely open to the idea of custom working a power supply, but i have no background in it. I have no time frame that i am working with so i have time to learn and mess up as well. Another option that i am looking into is using an external power supply, but again i cant find anything that puts out enough power. Im open to suggestions!

Checkout SFX, TFX, & mini ITX sized units in consumer PSU's and 1U size in server PSU's.

There are plenty of options for 350w with a 3' (either h or w) Limit but since you don't list complete size limitations I couldn't help further.

i figure i will get something up and running and then build the case around it, so i dont have any concrete size limitations yet. But ill check that out, thank you!
