cleanupmgr stalls

Additional assist please.....My cleanupmgr.exe file stalls after a couple of
minutes and does not report back to complete.

I've downloaded and run another from kelly but the process seems to get into
a circle from which it cannot escape. using the /stageset 11 command and
checking only the delete trashbin and it still stalls.

Any thoughts of how to fix?

(One guy's opinion) Get a third party app. Iolo's System Mechanic is one of
the best. You will go bald trying to get the cleanupmgr to work properly.

Ah, found it and it works! Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 812248

Thank nosleep for your thoughts and I'll keep that one in mind for the
future. Deleting the entry as suggested in the KB article makes the program
work like a charm. Too bad I didn't find it sooner.
