Pentium D was a dual core, but based on the Pentium 4 architecture. Considering the Core architecture is way super faster than the Pentium 4 at the same speed, I'm going to say the 2Ghz Dual-core. Maybe. What is the model of the 2Ghz dual core?
can uu guys help me with dis???
whitch is the best 1 dualcore 2GHZ or Pentium D 3.4GHZ???? please??????
three things u should know
1) Pentium d and 1st gen dual cores are same orch based but dual cores 20% faster, effiecient than Pentium D's
2)Precisely Pentium d and dual cores are dead alredy 3 years ago, after releasing Core2duos, In here C2D's are 2nd gen of dual cores with 30% performance increase. And ofcourse these are already out of market.
3) If u want to buy a processor now what's the budget, what are the other specs, And if u really building a new rig go with 2nd gen I3 for ur budget.
And here is the link if u can't understood what I said.
The Pentuim D is the dual core version of the Pentuim 4. The design flaw it had was that each core had its own L2 cache which means when one core ran out of cache it has to go into the ram for the data. That means off course it has to run at its external speed more often.
