Crosshair V Formula-Z release date? Rumors?

So i have been googling for weeks and nobody knows anything

Even the Rog and Amd-fanboy forums is really vague on the release date....

So.... is the date (day/week/ even month) a big secret or something because i know that the board is done and that it has been in beta-testing for a while

They could release it or atleast give a vague date but they are holding it back.....for what? the FX-8350 perhaps?

I googled The FX-8350 release date and i read the forums at the 5 first pages in google.....and 80% of the rumors say mid-Q3.....ahem .......mid-Q3 is NOW!.....and nobody knows anything about anything....

some rumors say late September or October........but aren't they supposed to advertise the new release a couple months before it is out......but AMD is just sticking their heads in the ground like a ostrich ... this is holding Asus/Rog back.......and it is pissing me off

Judging from what asus usually does, I'd have to say middle September. Hopefully sooner though, cannot wait! God bless and happy gaming mate!

Um...so...i found some info and i thought i'd share it with those following this thread.


The latest news says that the FX-83xx series will be released in October and the FX-43xx and FX-63xx will be released in December.

But the i7-3970X will also be released in December to kick the ass of AMD-Fanboys




Anyway... if the FX-8350 will be released in October then I'll make a educated guess and say that Asus will release the Crosshair V Formula-Z around the same time....mid-end October

A couple days ago i sent a mail to every single Asus retailer in my country and there wasn't a single one who gave a *** like they didn't even know about the mobo.......

In frustration i went to Asus.com and they made me fill out a huuudge form that took me like 30 min to figure out.....and the reply i got from the top was :

I'm sorry but i don't have an exact date, all i can say is "soon"
