Suggest intel CPU and mobo combo

Hi guys can you suggest an intel cpu and mobo combination best suited for gaming. Would want to spend medium amount of cash, so a £300 mobo is out. Thinking about an I7 2600K and the Asus Sabertooth P67 board.

Would prefer to stick with Asus as I like their gear, will need SLI capability and two PCI slots one for my GTX 580 and another for when I buy its partner. Also needs a PCI slot for my sound card.

Already have 8GB of Ram so no problems in that category as well as Antec Kuhler water cooling unit.

As for 2600k vs. 2500k. If it's pure gaming then go 2500k, otherwise 2600k. If price is not an issue go 2600k.
