Hey guys,
so a quick question, if i were to upgrade to a x70 mobo/cpu would that be a wise decision since Ivy bridge is coming out next year? I know ivy bridge is for lga 1155 but does anyone know or has it been confirmed that there will be a ivy bridge for lga 2011 as well-perhaps a ivy bridge E? If there is then i guess i could upgrade to the new cpu, if there isnt then ill wait for the reviews and keep my current x58 build.

Ivy Bridge E will be compatible with 2011. If your a gamer though just get ivy bridge mainstream as you dont need any more cores.

Ivy Bridge/ the bridge architecture will not be compatible with the "well pairing" (haswell 22mm die and intels tick and broadwell intels tock at 14mm die).
