Safe operating temp for Phenom X6 1100T??

I don't allow mine to go over 55c, just to be on the safe side, although 60c is what most people say.

Is that the socket temp or the temp of the cores? Obviously the socket temp is always higher than that of the cores?

Same here ,I'm getting 54c at 100% and that has me looking for something other than stock cooler . I like a lot od wiggle room . Just can't find an easy to install small cooler .
They say 62c is max but cooler=longer life = better

My 1090T ran all summer with an aftermarket cooler in the 30s-40s maxed out.
