Hey! i was just wondering if all new mobos that support ddr3 can use any ddr3 stick even if the mobo doesnt give exact model numbers for the RAM. EX can an Asus P8Z77 use CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B. The QVL doesnt give the exact model number but ones similar.

Usually, yes. There are very rare circumstances that they won't, but those usually involve very high speed RAM with all 4 slots being used.

Basically, you'll be fine.
