Can i run crysis 2 on this? :heink:

Windows 7 Ultimate
processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz
Ram: 4.00 GB
Type system: 64 bit
video kard: ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series

The game would just crawl with that config. The CPU/GPU combo would really make it difficult for the game. You may expect something at 1024x768 at the lowest setting. But don't expect all the eye candy!

What is you card's model name?Is it 4650 or 4670.Since your cpu is decent, you could play on low settings

No you don't need a new monitor for installing a new graphics card. You just might need a new power supply, thats all. What PSU are you using?

click on start button. In the search box type dxdiag .click on yes if a message pops up.click on display tab.On the top left corner you will see your gpu.post the name here

Yup, GPU-Z will tell ya. Anyway, it also depends on the resolution you plan to play at. If you are using a low resolution like 1024x768 or even 1280x1024 you should be able to play with the graphics details on mostly medium (perhaps put shadows and particle details on low) and be just fine. If your going with 1440 x 900 or above then you have to put alot more settings on low and may want to get a new GPU if it's a 4670, but if it's a 4650 you definitely will need a new GPU. You should also consider overclocking your CPU since it's low stock clock rate will hold it back.

I think he will be able to play Crysis 2 with settings on "high." You could be right about the CPU's clock rate, but I'll bet it'll still run around 30 FPS. [there is only High - Very High - Extreme settings on Crysis 2, so High is really "Low" if that makes any sense). I only have a HD Radeon 5670 1 GB on my rig and I can play with every thing turned to Very High, and all other selectable settings turned to "ON" - and at 1920 x 1080 resolution. It looks great and it's barely stressing my CPU at all (although I do notice on CPU-Z that it turbos up to 3.4 regulary). FRAPS shows around 60 FPS consistently with no probs.

Try and use dxtory and limit fps to 30.The game runs much smoother then

You can't link a local computer path here, it's like asking for your address and you saying "I live right here". You need to post the picture on a file sharing site.
