Horrible Products and Customer Support

I want to warn people about Cyberpower. I've had a Cyberpower tower for 14 months. For four of those months, the computer was not used. Last week, the power supply and the motherboard burnt out. The computer was not overclocked.

It took me one week to get their customer service department. When I finally reached them, they offered no help, since the parts were warrantied for one year. Their customer service department makes Comcast's look good.

Do not make the same mistake I did! Don't by Cyberpower products!

What was the make and model of that power supply?

As online pre-built computers go they are pretty good. Not as good as say Falcon Northwest but that's a whole other thing.

Also, you could try contacting the suppliers of the PSU and Motherboard and use their warranties. Cyberpower does offer 3 years to fix the computer.

And with Cyberpower and a lot of cases that have been coming out the last few year, you really have to make sure that the case is elevated off the ground with those bottom case placed PSUs.
