i have heard that the ati raedon graphics is not so gud for playing games than the nvidia .is it actually true????

No, that's a lie. Read the reviews for your self. In any given price segment AMD Radeon and nVidia GeForce cards trade blows and it really depends on the game as to which GPU is best for you. One thing that is true is that current nVidia cards use more power than similarly priced Radeon cards.

yes i'm planning to buy a new motherboard +cpu kit with gud graphics could be any one ati or nvidia .i would rely on quality gpu.

GTX460(1gb) is a great card for the $120-$130 asked for these days...

In the $200-$220 range, the 6950(2gb) is unmatched in price/performance, IMO....

(Many prefer the GTX560Ti in the same pricerange)
