I currently have a Asus M2N78-LA (Violet) And I'm planning on buying a i5-2500k processor (mainly for gw2)

Now I read on plenty of sites that only certain mobo's support overclocking.... Oh if you want to know I have a GTX 560 Ti.

Thanks in advance,
Dioxideh

Okay thanks :)

My budget would be around 150 euro's. however if there is one more expensive that makes a big difference Iwould definitely give it a look.

You'll need new RAM too, your old motherboard uses DDR2 RAM while your new one will require DDR3.

So you'll probably need to stay reasonably value-oriented. Something like an Asrock Z77 Extreme4 comes to mind.

That mobo's sounds great. its already reasonably lower than my original budget!

1 thing tho... what is the difference between the Asrock Z77 Extreme4 and the Asrock Z77 Extreme4-m
The -m one is cheaper from where looking(tweakers.net)

The -m is mATX, so it's physically smaller and has fewer PCI/PCI-express ports. It also has fewer power phases, so it may not overclock as well.

Just make sure your case has room for a regular ATX board if that's what you pick.
