Which is better 5450 DDR3 2GB -vs- 5550 DDR 1GB

Which is better: ATI 5450 DDR3 2GB memory -vs- ATI 5550 DDR 1GB?
I bought a computer. It said it came with an ATI HD 5450 DDR3 1GB, but it didn't.
they give me 2 options:
ATI 5550 DDR (just DDR--not DDR2 nor DDR3) 1GB memory -or-
ATI 5450 DDR3 2GB memory

which is better?
I mainly want to edit pix & watch tv online. not much into gaming

The HD5550 comes in two flavours, GDDR3 or 5.

There's absolutely no point in having 2GB on a card that isnt really capable of playing games at high res or large textures, go for the HD5550.

The HD5550 is not even fast enough to use 1GB of VRAM regardless if it is GDDR3 or GDDR5. Get the GDDR5 if they offer it.


Just realize that the HD 5550 is not considered a gaming card, but more for media.
