I'm usually not one for buying anything used at all when it comes to computer component's since the burnout factor is iffy at best.

I have the option of getting a 9800gx2 or a gtx275 for $100,
Its a hell of a deal but what are the burnout factors for these cards, according to the owners non of them have been oc'd.

As long as it's not an 8800 should be pretty safe. I have a 9800gt that I bought used, overclocked a few times and back to stock, and it's running fine for over a year for me now in a second system.
