Samsung 226bw display Problem

My Samsung 226bw monitor was black after boot up. I toggle the on/off switch and the display runs normally for approx one second, then blacks out again. Changed computers, same behavior. The whole system is powered thru a UPS, so dirty power shouldn't be a factor. Any ideas?

Maybe the screen is just a faulty one. If you have a warranty for it, GET IT REPLACED. problem solved in my opinion. if you tried it on another computer it will be a problem with the monitor. take it in and get it checked out.

You're right. It is "cooked" in some way. I just downloaded the manual (RTFM - I know) and the troubleshooting section helped. Now - let's find that receipt... or checkbook! Three yr warranty, I think.
