now here's the question....i wanna move all this stuff im a regular case like mid tower or full tower and ad a aftermarket cpu cooler
i saw ppl pushing 4ghz on the i7 930 with air...
im ready to spend 200$ for case and cooler...i was looking at this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146074
but then i read if i put a good cpu cooler like top 3 u wont be able to mount the 200mm side fan...so please help me to find a good case and cooler for this setup to get 4ghz.
it come with cse but its a falcon nortwest fragbox....small package ....and cant fit aftermarket cooler

ps...got it for 450$:)

Solution

Seems like you want a white case.
The 600T is your best option imo.
You can fit any high-end air cooler you like in that monster = it's 10.4" wide.
If you want the best go for a Thermalright cooler.
http://www.thermalright.com/products/
The Silver Arrow or Archon will fit in the 600T no problem.
Both coolers come with the TY-140mm fan which is a better fan then anything Noctua has ever made.

thx 4 the replay....the heat sink link doesn't help the rampage gene its 1366....those coolers are 1156 ...yea the case its not bad ...im looking for something more sleek...
i really dont like the side with that big mesh...its just preference i ques
as the coolers im looking at this Prolimatech Megahalems, Noctua NH-D14 and the Thermalright Venomous-X.
just need a good case ...even if i pass that 200$ buy 20 bucks its not the end of the world:)

thx 4 ur input anyway

Great buy for $450.

Why not wait to see how you do with it before committing $200 for something you might not need?

There is nothing wrong with running a cpu or graphics card a bit hot, so long as you don't exceed the limits.

I really don't think you need a 4.0 oc to drive a GTX480 to it's limits.

If you hate the case, then by all means spend what you must to get a case you love.

http://www.falcon-nw.com/

This is the best case i would recommend... It's best only for air cooling but not good for water cooling...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021

Best cooler:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118097&Tpk=zalman%2012x
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835999015
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835999032

Accessories when OCing! Since your OCing high 4GHz, Get this NorthBridge cooler because it's ganna be HOT, recommend NB stay under 67*C Unless you got a board with a fan on it... Note sure if it fits...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835999031

Note: I picked these because the Case is better at lower cost and the Cooler is better for lower cost and/or is the best... Zalman always makes good cooler as will as Noctua but im guessing It's time for a ultimate air cooler to be used and it's the Zalman link above... The Zalman cooler i linked above in my opinion is the best right now, the low rating was just some stuff missing and or too bit for their retarded mind lol...
