guys while comparing radeon hd 6870 and gtx 560 ti
the nvidia is the better buy of the two we know this.....
though it's a bit higher in price and do consumes a much more power than the ati product its worth it
but the fact is if ne person chooses to play 90% time at a resolution of 1600x1200 and seldom moves to 1920x1080
which is the best buy
regardless of the fact is that the card picked will b used for modern games with high settings (1600x1200)

Those two resolutions are almost the same, 1,920,000 pixels vs 2,073,600 pixels. You won't see any noticeable performance difference between 1600x1200 and 1920x1080. You'll need a benchmark to tell any difference, and even then I bet it will fall withing the +- range for error.
