Beeping at start up

when I power up the computer it has a continuos beep. I have to restart it several times before it does not beep. If the computer is running I can select restart and it will with no beeping.

  5. Try reseating your RAM. Long continuous beeps indicates a RAM problem, probably because a module isn't fully seated or one or both are bad (defective). To rule out the latter case, remove all but one RAM module. If the beeps go away, add in the other. If the beeps are still absent, then the modules weren't seated properly. If the beeps are present with only 1, try the other module and/or try the module in another slot. Isolating the cause involves the use of basic experimental science.
  6. Test each Module separately with Memtest86+ for 2-3hrs longer will give a better result: http://www.memtest86.com/
