Yeah so I have an XFX NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT. For some odd reason, the graphics card goes upto 100-110 degrees celcius when on the bios screen, when put there for about a few minutes. Now one day, I forgot to go through the bios screen (I had a password set up on the bios menu) and then I just smelled something... odd. Burning plastic! But I saw my screen was still on, and I quickly closed my computer from its wall switch. Next day, my computer wouldn't turn on, at all. Now, when I put my graphics card in and attempt to power on, the lights will just simply blink for a split second and turn off. When I take out the graphics card, it would work properly without any problems. Now I'm wondering if I can fix this thing using the 'bake fix' method, because my warranty has expired.
Right, so is my graphics card gone for good or what? Will it help at all trying this bake method?
