Planning a new system but I'm not sure whether to get the 32 bit or 64 bit Windows 7 Professional.

Planned specs' are:
Intel Core i5
Asus P7P55D Pro
G.Skill 4gb (2x2gb) Ripjaws 1600MHz
Samsung 1tb F3 Spinpoint

Just wondering if the Mobo and CPU can handle the 64 bit version. (Yes, I am a computer noob :p)

Unless you have a specific need, avoid any 32 bit OS at this point. It's 2010 and there are very, VERY few apps that won't run correctly on a 64 bit OS. Antiquated security products (that you'd be better off without) are about the only thing that comes to mind in terms of compatibility issues... well, that and VPN client software (I'm looking at you Cisco!)

Where's the graphics card? Not that it's terribly relevant to this post, but I'd just like to know what kind of card you're putting in there.

Good election, or maybe in the future you can get a GTX3xx series.
